A costume supplier to the film industry wanted the whole warehouse carpeted to reduce dirt transfer onto stock. Minimal preparation, large-area installation and a very unusual brief.

Laser-set vinyl capping
A fixed laser datum keeps the capping level even when the subfloor is not. Following the floor with a gauge can simply reproduce its variations at the wall.

The rubber perimeter tiles sat significantly higher than the sled-track finish, so a contained smoothing-compound build-up was formed to bring the two systems together cleanly.
